How It Started

Hi, I’m Shawn, the founder and creative heart behind Zariah’s Creations. My journey with planning and journaling began early—as a pre-teen, I started keeping track of life’s events (like my monthly periods) in a simple notebook. What started as a small habit grew into a lifelong love for writing things down, staying organized, and creating calm from the everyday chaos.

My first dip into crafting came during a pivotal season of my life—while going through a divorce, I needed an outlet for stress and found comfort in creating. I began sewing, started a YouTube channel called Zariah Sews, and discovered the therapeutic power of making things with my hands. Crafting became not just a hobby, but a form of healing and self-expression.

As a single mom, planning and organization took on a new level of importance. I was determined to keep my child’s life steady and full, making sure we stayed on top of every activity, appointment, and milestone during a time of great transition.

This life experience inspired me to create Zariah’s Creations, founded in 2010—a brand that’s about more than just beautiful paper goods. Today, I design faith-centered and practical stationery—Bible study journals, sermon notebooks, budget planners, and inspirational notepads—all crafted to help women like you stay spiritually connected, organized, and empowered.

I also offer coordinating keychains, buttons, and accessories, because I believe inspiration should follow you wherever life takes you.

My hope is that every product from Zariah’s Creations serves as a daily reminder that you are strong, capable, and walking in purpose—no matter what season you’re in.
